For the second consecutive year, yesterday we signed a collaboration agreement with Projecte Emma, whose objective is breast cancer research. This project is led by the Doctor Ferran Foundation at the Verge de la Cinta Hospital in Tortosa.

This year, our solidarity contribution is €16,000, which will allow more than 2,000 genetic analyses to be carried out on breast cancer patients and, in this way, to continue advancing in the study of this disease. Last year, our donation made it easier for a new researcher to be hired and join the team.

Currently, the research group in Oncological Pathology and Bioinformatics, the driving force behind Projecte Emma, is immersed in research focused on studying the immune response of the axillary lymph nodes in breast cancer patients.

We hope that our contribution will enable them to obtain new results and to continue advancing in this vitally important research.
